Wasted

My exams are in exactly 6 days. SIX DAYS. Which leaves me one day a subject. Which basically means I'm screwed. And I'm still not motivated enough to study. I am worried. Yet not worried enough to actually study. I've been studying in bits and pieces. Not nearly enough. And I wonder what's going to happen during the exams. I'm going to be a quivering, nervous wreck and it'll all be my fault. What do I need? A good kick up the ass!

Update

An update on the 1 million signatures for Tibet petition, that I had posted about yesterday. Dear friends, We reached our target! In just 7 days over 1 million of us have signed the petition calling for human rights and dialogue in Tibet–the fastest growing internet petition in history. As the crisis continues, it’s time to deliver our petition and make sure Chinese President Hu Jintao hears our voices. An International Day of Action has been declared for Monday, March 31st. On Monday, thousands of people in cities across the world will march to Chinese embassies and consulates, and stack hundreds of boxes containing our petition outside them. 1 million signatures makes a mountain of boxes–it will send a powerful global message. We have just 4 days left until the petition delivery. Could we get to 2 million signatures in 4 days? We can do it–if every one of us recruits at least one more friend to sign the petition by forwarding this email.

Randomity

I sat here staring at my screen for at least 15 minutes before I could decide what to blog about and as I write this I still have no idea. It's randomness at its best. There are a multitude of thoughts swirling through my head and I'm finding it hart to pinpoint or firmly hold one down. To be precise, what I'm feeling is exactly what Mynie describes in Strings . It's a knotted mess in my head. But I felt that it was time I did a blog post, there have been way too many tags lately and while I love doing tags. It's incredibly cathartic to write a post and get everything off my chest. And while this may seem a mess of a post, there's a lot of stuff that I wanted to talk about but didn't really seem to deserve an entire post to themselves, in terms of content at least. So I'm gonna put them all in here, in what is probably going to turn up to be a hell of a confused post. I'm just going to go with the flow and talk about whatever pops into my head. Cool?...

The Number Tag

I have been looking for an interesting issue to blog about for a while. Something that gets my creative jucies flowing. And nothing has really come along in a while. Or something comes along and fizzles out when I actually sit down to blog about it. Anyway, I saw this on Whiny the Moo 's blog and the moment I read it, I knew I had to do it and even though I wasn't exactly tagged for this, I'm still going to do it because I am utterly shameless and I also have nothing better to do. :) Ten Things you wish you could say to people write now (without taking their names) :- 1) I am NOT going to turn off the T.V. 2) I love you. I really really do. 3) Go soak your head. 4) Leave me alone. 5) I want to know your real name in a strictly non-stalker sense. 6) Do you really love me or are you just saying it cause I'm saying it? 7) Wake up and smell the coffee!! She's just using you until someone better comes along. 8) You didn't really think I was going to tell you the tru...

Avaaz Uthao

*This is from the MadMomma . Freeing Tibet is one of those issues I strongly believe in. I've met a lot of Tibetans while travelling in the northern areas of the country and I can't think of a more friendly, smiley people and that is why my heart bleeds to hear what's happening. Which is why when I saw this on the MadMomma's blog, I had to put it up.* Dear friends, The global outcry over Tibet is rising fast - In just 5 days, 751,472 of us from 192 countries have come together to call for restraint and dialogue with the Dalai Lama. Even more amazing, we have told over 5 million of our friends about this important campaign - that’s 1 million people per day! A personal email from a friend is a powerful thing – it is helping to drive the global tide of concern. Let’s push now to tell 5 million more friends, get over 1 million signatures this week, and deliver the largest global online petition in history to the Chinese government. Just forward the email below to a few more...
